Flash your ds

What u will need..

1. a Ds(lite or Phat)
2. 2 paperclips
3. Small(very small) screw driver
4. No parents around lol(Dad's at work, Moms at the gym)

**First of all, Im not RESPONSIBLE for any DS breakage**

1. Flip Ds on its back
2. Find small screw on the right side on the compartment
3. Carefully unscrew the screw until battery lid comes off
4. **NOTE** make sure the battery gets removed before you do the following(Connect charger for power)
5. Find the 2 little square holes at the bottom of the compartment
6. Turn the DS on
7. Bend 2 paper clips into a "hook" shape
8. Find the square hole nearest the security sticker and, (with force) push the paper clips into the square corner, You should hear a small beep and thats when u know its been flashed
9. Now the ds will turn on again by itself and ask u to fill out all the information, like time, date, birthday, ect.
10. Your Ds has been flashed to new firmware, ITS THAT SIMPLE!

The reason for going through all this work is so you can run 3rd party apps like emulators and other homebrew.
**You should purchase the Datel GAMES 'n' MUSIC Cartridge if you want to take your homebrew expierence even further**

Don't think you did something wrong if it appears that your DS is the same as normal However if you reboot it and the booting theme song sounds the same, then u know u did something wrong and should restart the process until you hear a differnt tone of music.
